Muutimme syksyllä Vantaalle Korsoon vanhalle Lehmuston tilalle ja 4. huhtikuuta 2022 käynnistyi uusi yhteinen Uoma vulgaris avoin yhtiö, joka jatkaa alunperin Kimmon toiminimien toimintaa. Aputoiminimet Uoma Earthcare ja Uoma Wild & Sour ja tämä nettisivu jatkavat toimintaansa normaalisti.

Kiinnostuin villiyrteistä kymmenisen vuotta sitten ja innostuin aiheesta niin paljon, että opiskelin luonnontuoteneuvojaksi. Olen myös antropologi, luonnonsuojelija ja ympäristöaktivisti. Suosikkiaiheeni on maan- ja energiankäyttöön liittyvä positiivinen muutos, jossa me kaikki voimme ja saamme olla mukana. Viime syksynä muutimme Kimmon kanssa Korsoon vanhalle Lehmuston tilalle ja nyt meillä on mahtava mahdollisuus jatkaa uuden oppimista ja tiedon jakamista täällä.
Rakastan tanssia ja syödä maukasta ruokaa. Illanvietot ystävien kanssa ovat elämän suola. Olen myös lukutoukka ja yksi suosikkikirjani on Robin Wall Kimmererin Braiding Sweetgrass.

Who’s behind Uoma Wild & Sour?
We moved to the old Lehmusto farm in Korso, Vantaa last autumn and on April 4, 2022 we started a new company, Uoma vulgaris avoin yhtiö. The new company will continue Kimmo’s sole entrepreneurship, so the auxiliary business names Uoma Earthcare and Uoma Wild & Sour and the same website will remain.

Who’s behind Uoma Wild & Sour? Here’s a bit about Maija:
I found wild herbs about ten years ago and got so interested in them that I studied to be a natural product advisor. I’m also an anthropologist, an environmentalist and an activist. My favourite topic is the positive change related with land and energy use, in which we can all play a part. Last autumn Kimmo and I moved to the old Lehmusto farm in Korso and now we have a great opportunity to continue learning new things and sharing information here.
I love to dance and eat tasty food. Evenings spent with friends are the spice of life. I’m a bookworm and one of my favourite books is Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass.
I also love broccoli. And frogs.
